Matthew Frawley, PT, DPT
Dr. Matthew Frawley is a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from East Stroudsburg University. He decided then to pursue his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. As a student, Matt had the opportunity to work in a variety of rehabilitation settings but spent a large amount of time during his clinical rotations in outpatient orthopedics/sports physical therapy and gained valuable experience that he continues to demonstrate in his practice.
Although just graduating in early 2017, Matthew is considering furthering his education with an OCS or CSCS. Matthew likes to stay current in the literature and reads many journal articles, especially those pertaining to orthopedic conditions and Parkinson’s Disease. Dr. Frawley conducted research, while at Arcadia University, investigating the effects of a high-intensity exercise program for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease, which was selected to be presented at the national level.
Matthew has played various sports throughout his life, including football, baseball, basketball, and golf. He has also coached Little League baseball for 2 years, which helps him to relate to some of his younger patients and develop creative treatment ideas. In his spare time, Matthew loves playing and watching any type of sport. Additionally, he loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking.
