Dr. Rob Kohutanycz, PT, DPT
Rob Kohutanycz is a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey before attending graduate school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey to earn his DPT degree in May 2013. As a student, Dr. Kohutanycz gained experience in outpatient, acute rehab, and hospital settings while working with patients of varying ages with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.Dr. Kohutanycz believes that one must always strive to become better both personally and professionally. He is currently pursuing his certification as a Sports and Conditioning Specialist and would like to attend continuing education courses to become certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in the near future. Rob is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and belongs to both the Orthopedic Section and the Aquatic Section of the APTA. Dr. Kohutanycz always tries to instill a desire to achieve more in all of his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Kohutanycz is an avid gym goer and hockey fan. He also enjoys participating in community service events that promote physical fitness and wellness and serve a worthy cause. To date, Rob has participated in the Tough Mudder, the Multiple Sclerosis MuckFest Run, the Color Run, and the Life Rolls On – They Will Surf Again event.
As a physical therapist, Dr. Kohutanycz utilizes evidence based manual treatment techniques as well as an individualized functional exercise program to achieve the best clinical outcomes possible. He always involves his patients in setting goals for therapy and actively seeks further knowledge from both his colleagues and his patients.
In December of 2016 Dr. Kohutanycz was appointed clinical director. In his new role he will be overseeing the clinical operations of all staff physical therapists and aides including training and mentoring.
