Janice Mallard is a certified Medical Coder and Biller, and a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders since 2006. She has a 20 year background in coding and billing in several diversified medical specialties within the Private Practice arena. She was an instructor, tutor, and academic advisor at Fortis Institute, located in Lawrenceville, NJ, where she taught CPT, ICD9 and HCPCS coding, medical terminology, career building skills, and resume writing. In 1995 she graduated from The City College of New York, and was inducted into the Golden Key National Honor Society, and a member of Gamma Chapter-Phi Beta Kappa. After earning her Bachelors degree, in Liberal Arts, she continued her education at Seton Hall University, located in South Orange, NJ, earning her Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, in 2009. In December of 2016 Janice Mallard was appointed Advanced PMR’s Billing Director. In her new role she will be overseeing all operations of the billing department.
